About Cassandra

I have done volunteer babysitting off and on for the last five years. I mainly did this for family members as well as members of my church. I cared for children ages 1 to 12. I would keep them entertained, make and give them dinner, and then put them to bed. I also spent a year tutoring second graders in math. During this time, I would help them with their homework and teach them how to add and subtract. I have spent the past nine months working at an elementary school. I would tutor individual kids during the school day and then after school, I assisted at an after school program where I provided homework help, played with the kids, and supervised anywhere from 10-30 kids. I am willing and able to help children with their homework. I have always loved caring for children and I am interested in a future career teaching kindergarten. I always have a lot of fun playing with kids and reading them books. I am an avid reader and so I find it fun to share my love of reading with children.
