About Allison

Hello! My name is Allison, and I have been working with children since I was 12 years old. I started out as a babysitter for the neighborhood children and a helper in my mother's preschool class. In college I taught at a Montessori preschool and worked at a daycare. I realized I enjoyed forming close relationships with children, so I became a nanny. Since then, I have nannied both full and part time for a variety of San Francisco and NYC families with children ranging in age from newborn-6 years old. I am knowledgeable of developmental milestones and pride myself on creating an environment where infants and children can grow and explore their potential. I have experience with sleep training, introducing solids, weening, separation anxiety, potty training, etc. Did I mention after my undergraduate work, I went to culinary school to study pastry? I love to cook and bake with children, and I also have experience making baby food from scratch.
