About Allison

I enjoy working with kids because I am a mom and nurturer at heart. Having a background career in speech-language pathology, I am particularly passionate about early language, learning, and literacy opportunities for young children. I also enjoy tutoring! I'm looking for a summer job when I am not working in my regular school job. I enjoy taking kids to the park, the library, or whatever activities they enjoy. I am looking to partner with parents with a common goal for good discipline, warm nurturing, and fun times. I started working with kids during college as I began my career as a speech-language pathologist. I have worked in the field of special education since then, while also raising my own three children (now teens!). I have loved working in the school setting with teachers and other professionals. Nurturing and teaching is part of who I am. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, church activities, spending time with my husband and children, and working in my garden.
