About Allyson

I began working as a mother's helper in middle school, and over the past nearly 20 years I have supported many families in a variety of childcare roles. My experience includes caring for children from newborns through age 16,. In addition to my hands-on childcare experience, I spent almost a decade working as a middle school and high school teacher. I am also CPR and First Aid certified and have completed numerous safety trainings over the years, particularly through my work in education and nonprofit settings. Safety is always a top priority for me, along with creating a calm, engaging, and supportive environment for children. Currently, I work in the nonprofit sector supporting families who have an individual with a disability, which has further strengthened my skills in patience, communication, and individualized care.
