About Alma

Hello! My name is Alma, a recent UCLA graduate with a passion for education. As an undergrad I worked as a peer councilor, helping students find their interests and guiding them to the proper resource. Prior to that, I worked with an after-school program that focuses on reading comprehension, academic growth and recreation for a year. Today I hope to build a career around education policy and public affairs to bridge under-resourced communities to comprehensive reform. Babysitting would keep my interaction with children (aside from the toddlers in my family) strong and alive.
