About Alonna

Hello! I'm an incoming first-year honors college student at SUNY Albany (CS major) eager to broaden my childcare experience. I will be relocating to Albany in August. I graduated from HS with a regents diploma, 3. 8 GPA, AP Scholar and African-American recognition awardee. A well rounded student, my extracurriculars included STEM and the preforming/visual arts. During my time as a pre-professional dancer, a requirement of my scholarship involved serving as a TA for students aged 5-8. Similarly, as a dance major at my school, I assisted the middle school dance teacher with her students at our Saturday Academy. My other experiences with childcare in HS were informal, involving family members aged 6-10. However, now being a legal adult I'd like to expand my scope. Duties I'm willing to (and have) taken on include housekeeping, meal preparation, playing with children upon their request (even if it's something I don't fancy), implementing fun and/or educational activities, & tutoring.
