About Alysa

I have extensive experience working with children, starting at 14 in my church's nursery, caring for infants and toddlers. I've regularly looked after my nieces, nephews, and family friends' kids, which has enhanced my childcare skills. Annually, I volunteer at my church's Vacation Bible School, creating a fun and educational environment. In high school, I tutored elementary students, assisting with their academic needs. Recently, I worked with Children of the City during the summers of 2022 and 2023, where I taught and supervised 20 kids from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. My duties included organizing educational activities, supervising lunchtime, and ensuring a safe and engaging experience for all children. My diverse background in childcare, combined with my dedication to creating supportive and enriching environments, makes me well-equipped for any role involving children!
