About Alyssa

Hi, I'm Alyssa! I am a recent graduate with an Elementary Education degree. I am a current substitute teacher at Port Jefferson. I have been babysitting since I was 12 (making that 12 years of experience!) and dog sitting since 16. My favorite age group is toddlers, but I have plenty of experience in all age groups. I am looking for summer work with the possibility to continue in the fall outside of school hours. I have experience with pet sitting, tutoring, mother's helper jobs, and I have reliable transportation. I am CPR certified. I am no stranger to entertaining on the fly, finding creative activities to fill up a summer afternoon, or negotiating at mealtime. I am passionate, kind, and (some would say) funny! At least, hopefully your child will think so. I am quick to understand directions and can implement any family structure. In my free time I enjoy reading, taking pictures, and singing.
