About Alyssa

Hi! My name is Alyssa, I am a fourth year at Sonoma State University and originally from Walnut, Ca. In the past I have worked with many different families, ranging from 1-4 children and ages ranging from newborns to pre-teens. I had a long term nannying job with a family of two young boys and loved every part of their endless playfulness. After this family moved away, I worked with a family looking for a caretaker for their non-verbal autistic daughter. Growing up around a cousin diagnosed with Aspergers, I found a passion for working with kids with disabilities early on. I worked with this family until I moved away for college, and still work with them when I return home from college during breaks or holidays. I am hands on, active with kids, and love growing a trusted relationship with children that they feel comfortable and supported by me. I hope I can be the extra helping hand you'd need, thanks!
