About Alyssa

I first began babysitting when I was 13 for families in my neighborhood. From age 14 until my freshman year in college I worked at a summer day camp caring for children generally between the ages of 6 and 7. With a co-leader we developed activity plans for them everyday, went on field trips and organized specialty days. In college I continued to have experience working with children through one of my undergraduate classes in child psychology where we volunteered at a school or daycare for the semester. From having played varsity softball throughout high school and college I have a lot of experience teaching younger kids how to play through various clinics, so I do not have a problem giving instruction or with "controlling a crowd". I have continued to babysit on an off for the majority of my life thus far. I love playing, interacting and caring with/for kids, and making them smile.
