About Alyssa

Hello! I'm Alyssa. I started my childcare career in 2015, in an infant room at a Kindercare, while earning a Certificate in Montessori Education. I worked in private daycare centers in MN, ND, and IA since then. I was a Kids' Ministry Director and a nanny for twin toddlers during the same year, but since 2023 I've worked with 1-3-year-olds at a local preschool. My favorite thing has been guiding the development of their unique personalities, while watching them discover their own strengths and interests. One thing you should know about me is I love playing with children. I have fun engaging their mind and learning about them through imaginative and practical life play, where I can show them my respect for their knowledge, ideas, and capabilities while also building trust and understanding with them through laughter and silliness.
