About Amanda

Hi! I'm a 34-year-old, para-educator & summer school teacher for SpEd for elementary level as well as a summer school teacher for 6-8th grade age. I'm a PT sitter during evenings and breaks from the school. Im a San Francisco State University graduate with a BA in psychology, one year studying abroad in London, England. In london, I was an assistant cook at a pub as well an au pair for a family in London till July 2011. In 2012, I continued nannying full-time with toddler twins & then with infants and newborns up to preteens. In 2014, I started working for a web design and branding company as a copywriter & photographer. I worked with them till the pandemic, when I lost my jobs. I landed a job as a para for SpEd elementary and within a year, I was offered the summer school teaching SpEd position for middle school. After finishing my 2nd year as a para, I'm now teaching K & 1st SpEd summer school. I have many jobs with different backgrounds and would love to discuss further w you!
