About Amanda

I've spent most of my life nurturing young minds and supporting families! I hold a bachelor's degree in Education and have both professional and personal experience caring for children ages 0-12 helping children grow and thrive in a safe and engaging environment. Being a former child care teacher, nanny and mother myself has given me extra insight into the individual needs of children and families! I'm patient, creative, and can tailor activities to each child's interests, whether it's imaginative play, hands-on learning, or outdoor adventures! I follow parents' guidance on rules and communication, providing updates however you prefer. I am seeking a position that offers more flexibility to be present for my own family while continuing meaningful work! I am in the final stages of becoming a Certified Post Partum Doula and Lactation support and Educator; supporting families through the 4th trimester and early months with compassionate, non judgemental in home care!
