About Amanda

I like working with kids because they're honestly so fun and special. Every kid has something unique about them and I think it's awesome to get to learn what that is. I started working with kids when I was basically a kid myself - 13! I have babysat, taught dance classes, camp counseled, and worked as a special ed teacher in the public school system. In my spare time, I like to run, do yoga, cook, read, and spend time with family and friends. One thing you should know about me is when I work with kids, I'm fun but fair. I genuinely like spending time with kids and making things exciting for them, but I also recognize that sometimes kids have to learn growing-up lessons and you need to be able to talk with them about more serious topics.
