About Amanda

I'd describe my personality as patient, energetic, caring, and honest. I like working with kids because they have a certain light that shines through them. Their imagination and laughter is infectious. Not to mention the beautiful connection and bond one might form. Of course, taking care of a child can be filled with tantrums and tears. I like to think it's quite simple. Give them what they need, be mindful of what they want, and love them like they deserve. I started working with kids when I was 16. I babysat for different families throughout the years. At age 19, I cared for 2 children everyday after school for two years. I immediately fell in love with the job. Cooking meals, playing games, and running around outside with them became the best part of my day. Then at 23, I worked part time at Childtime Learning Center for 5 months. I was grateful for the opportunity to help support the development of the children's education. I'm looking forward to working with kids once more.
