About Amanda

It all started in my hometown as the neighborhood babysitter at the age of 13 years old. In high school, I continued my journey, working with children as a gymnastics coach for boys and girls ages 3-13. I not only ensured their safety on the equipment, but made sure to keep classes fun and engaging. When college came around, I pursued my love in working with children and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies, along with a EC-6 ESL Generalist certification. That being said, I spent a lot of time in and out of the classroom at the elementary level, not only assisting in educating students, but gaining knowledge from the teachers I had the pleasure of working with. After graduation, I decided to use everything I've learned and become a nanny for a family of 6. My days consisted of not only caring for 2-year-old twins and a 5-year-old, but also performing household duties and running errands when needed.
