Hi! I'm Amanda, originally from California and currently a graduate student studying special education. I've worked in childcare since I was 17 and love working with all kids, with a special soft spot for children with special needs. My passion comes from growing up with my sister, who has Down syndrome. I also served in the Peace Corps as a Literacy Specialist in the Caribbean, where I worked with children in schools and after-school programs. Right now my schedule is mostly fieldwork and classes, but I'm free during evenings and weekends and am looking for occasional babysitting opportunities, especially for date nights!
