About Amanda

Hi! I'm Amanda, an experienced nanny, early childhood educator, and household manager with several years of childcare experience in private homes, classrooms, outdoor programs, and as an international au pair. I have cared for children of different ages and needs, including neurodivergent children and children with feeding-tube routines. I love planning fun, engaging days with outdoor adventures, parks, crafts, reading, and age-appropriate activities. I'm also the Founder and Lead Educator of Camp Salamanda, a nature-based program for children ages 3-5. I'm CPR and First Aid certified and can help with meals, laundry, light cleaning, organization, errands, and pet care. I value patience, consistency, open communication, and creating a safe, supportive environment where children can learn, grow, and feel confident.
