About Amanda

I think my best experience in caring for children has been being a mother to my 17-year-old son and 15-year-old daughter. It taught me what's truly important and what you can let go. I spent my first 10 years with my kids as a SAHM. When they were old enough I returned to work full-time as a healthcare office manager. I recently left that position to find a better work-life balance. I've also refreshes my infant and toddler skills with several nieces that live nearby. My extended family is a huge part of my life and my time spent as an auntie is so precious to me. I believe in playground and outing adventures, as well as helping little ones learn to go along on errands and activities. I also appreciate that sometimes a day spent in pjs and full of snuggles is needed too! I do have older children and would like to, when the little one's schedule allows, be able to bring them along to things like occasional softball games and mom-taxi obligations.
