About Amanda

I'd describe my personality as outgoing, friendly, and bubbly. I like working with kids because kids are our future and time spent with them is very valuable. I adore being a mentor to kids and feel as if I can make a positive impact on both the kids and the world! I started working with kids when I was 18 helping out a family friend who had an autistic child and needed help with overnights. I went on to land multiple life changing positions such as an instructional assistant, a homeschool teacher, multiple other babysitting gigs and a lifeguard! One thing you should know about me is I currently work at Planet Fitness and genuinely miss having children actively present in my day to day life. My job at Planet Fitness allows me to maintain and utilize my friendly personality. My skills include CPR, first aid, and safety. Other skills I have that can be considered important in a child care role include the ability to uplift one's emotions and I am extremely empathetic.
