About Amanda

Hi! I'm Amanda, a 24-year-old teacher who recently moved to Greensboro after earning my Master's degree in Literacy. I've been babysitting since I was 14 and have over 10 years of experience caring for children ages 9 months to 12 years old. Throughout college, I worked as a summer nanny for two boys, ages 2 and 3, and continued babysitting during school breaks. I'm passionate about working with children and creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where they can learn and have fun. As an educator pursuing a career as a literacy specialist, I love incorporating books, storytelling, and age-appropriate learning activities into my time with kids! 3 words to describe me: patient, nurturing, and dependable. In my free time, I enjoy reading, baking, coloring, and trying my hand at gardening.
