About Amanda

I am the quintessential nurturer! I spent 10 years at home with my two daughters while supporting my husband's military career. When I rejoined the workforce, I knew I wanted to go into caregiving. I began working with seniors in-home for the first year, but realized I needed a higher energy job. I started caring for infants and toddlers at Primrose School of Stone Oak 6 months ago, and found that I love working with young children! I am seeking employment outside the school setting because I want to be able to focus more time one-on-one with the children in my care. You will find me to be an empathetic and compassionate person, who is warm and easy to communicate with. I want to provide your kiddos with the same loving care I was able to give my own daughters. I have a Bachelor's of Psychology and am currently working on my MBA. I also have one year of nursing prerequisites. I am CPR certified and well versed in caring for sick children.
