About Amanda

I have been working with children for 23 years. I have been a licensed home daycare provider in Hutchinson, KS for the past 8 years. Now we are relocating to Liberty for my husband's new job, and I'd love to be a nanny! I enjoy watching kids grow and learn. I have a degree in elementary education and taught for 5 years before having my own kids. I taught first, second, and third grade, so I am comfortable helping kids with homework. I'm attending an online class/cohort this spring with Denita Dinger from Listen to the Children through which I'll be continuing to perfect my skills of empowering kids to have self-confidence. I believe that child-led play is the best way to learn! I am also a certified organizational specialist so I can help keep order in the home.

Amanda was absolutely incredible with our two boys. She went out of her way to do a meet and greet prior to the scheduled sitting appointment to make sure the boys were comfortable. She is super attentive and amazing with kids.
