About Amanda

Hi! I'm a single mom of 4 with a deep passion for caregiving. Back in 2007, I completed my CNA training, and while I let the formal state certification lapse because I prefer private home care over nursing homes, my hands-on experience never stopped. I've spent the last 15 years doing private home care on and off. In my opinion, home care offers the elderly and disabled a much better quality of life and personalized attention. I also bring a very personal level of experience to my work: I am the full-time, round-the-clock caregiver for my disabled daughter, who is wheelchair-bound and has a G-tube. Outside of caregiving, I'm currently expanding my skills by taking online classes to become a pharmacy technician. I am reliable, punctual, honest, and truly care about the people I look after.
