I'd describe my personality as Extroverted, Compassionate, Empathetic I like caring for seniors because I know what it's like to be in the bed, or need help! I am a miracle testimony within myself! I'm looking for a job that will enrich my quality assurance to all the seniors I serve across the healthcare spectrum! I started caring for seniors when I was 14yrs old! I volunteered @ 3 different nursing facilities on weekends! DC VILLAGE, CAROLYN BOONE, SPECIALTY HOSPITAL OF GREATER WASHINGTON! In my spare time, I like to shop, write poetry, and cook! One thing you should know about me is I have Lupus! I've had 2 strokes in my sleep that I miraculously survived! I am the first African American child born in Georgetown University Hospital that had successful reconstructive intestinal surgery! My skills include nursing across the board!
What a wonderful pleasure I had with Amani rendering her caregiving services. Amani is a bright, cheery, very happy go lucky type of young woman. She takes nursing, & caring for others to the heart. Amani took care of my sister Angela for the past two months, with the upmost empathy, compassion, diligence, 8 all around wholesome skill! She provided services in the capacity of cooking, cleaning, outside activities, & Dr’s appointments! I would over recommend Amani to anyone! She is truly unique, & one of a kind in personality, perspective, wisdom! It felt like we gained a long lost sibling, with an angelic heaven sent spirit, & intuition! Truly she changed the trajectory of how we felt about having a caregiver in our home. When I say she is keen in catering to the needs of her client, above her own, I sincerely mean that! She’s very benevolent, creative, & hands on. Thank you so much CARE for having one of the greatest caregivers I’ve ever met in these past six years of caregiving vetting!
