About Amara

Hi There! My name is Amara, and I'm a lifelong student currently working as a freelance writer. I've had the privilege of working with children for 2 decades in a variety of capacities, from being a Girl Scout leader, nannying, tutoring (K-12 and some graduate school entrance exams), and teaching English for several years to elementary aged children in China. I greatly enjoy educational enrichment and helping children pursue their academic passions. We live in such a diverse city with so much art, it's lovely to share that with the next generation. I have a spotless record (not even a parking ticket!) and a 2025 crossover SUV with all of the safety bells and whistles.
