About Amaya

Hi! My name is Amaya, I'm 19 years old, originally from Puerto Rico but raised in San Antonio, Texas. I'm looking for opportunities to help families with babysitting and childcare. Being the firstborn, I've grown up taking on responsibility and helping care for others. I have experience caring for my brother's new baby as well as children of my mom's family friends, so I'm comfortable helping with different ages and needs. I previously worked as a lifeguard at the JW Marriott and completed an EMT program. Although my CPR and First Aid certifications are no longer current, I have previous training and experience in both areas and understand the importance of safety, responsibility, and providing attentive care. I'm currently working and planning to join the Air Force, with a longtime dream of pursuing a career in the medical field. I genuinely enjoy being around children and would love the opportunity to provide a safe, loving, and fun environment for your family.
