About Amber

I find working with children enjoyable because they keep me on my toes and often make me laugh. I already have a full time teaching position. On this site I'm looking for side jobs that give me a little extra income. I began teaching right out of college. I like to travel, tend to my vegetable garden/plants, watch Philly sports (especially the Phillies), relax with my cat Iris, and spend time with my family and friends. One thing you should know about me is I'm dependable/responsible. I'm excellent at supervision. My students can attest to the fact that I don't miss a thing! My classroom is always orderly and safe. I operate the same way when providing child care in a household. In addition, I interact/engage with the child. I will read a book, play a game, toss a ball, etc. I'm a great problem solver and quick to react if a situation would arise.
