About Amber

I am an Liberal Arts/ Education graduate from Dominican University and a graduate of Los Medians College in Pittsburg, California with an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education and Liberal Arts. I have certification to work with children with special needs, infants and toddler, assistant teaching, along with multiple training through Contra Costa First Five. I have experience as a Behavioral Specialist for Children with Autism. I love arts and crafts, dramatic play, outdoor activities like going to the park, and reading books. In addition, I have taught preschool with the Infant/toddler and 2-year-olds, have experience student teaching at preschool with 3-year-olds and also school age children ages 4-8 years old. I have been a nanny to a few different families. I spent 9 years as a Preschool teacher in San Ramon and just last year I moved to San Jose and began teaching kindergarten. I really love working with and caring for children. They make my life simple and sweet.
