Hello! My name is Amber, but most people know me as Connie. I have been working in childcare for two years now and love watching young children grow and reach their big milestones. I've worked with ages 1-3, focusing mainly on that 24-30 month range. I have worked with children in small and large groups (anywhere from 3 kids to 16 kids) including diaper changes, feedings, potty training, clothing changes, nap time and activities. Amber has a natural ability to connect with kids, always getting down on their level and meeting them in their world of play. Her patience, and genuine compassion truly set her apart. She communicates effectively with both children and parents, ensuring everyone feels informed and confident. She is attentive to the individual needs of each kid, including and especially any medical concerns. She follows all written/verbal plans and is a strong advocate to ensure kids can continue to engage in everyday activities safely and with confidence, despite medical concerns. She strives to maintain a structured environment while still allowing flexibility for growth and development. Any family or organization would be lucky to have Amber as part of their team.
