Hello! My name is Amelia, I'm 28, and mom to a wonderful 14-month-old boy B. I have been a nanny for most of my life since I was 15. I took a break when I had my baby. I was hoping to find the right family who needed care 2-3 days a week, between Monday-Thursday, and was alright with me bringing B with me to their home. I have also been a lifeguard manager and instructor for 7 years total, and was trained-in and also taught CPR multiple times, however I have not recently renewed my certification. I graduated from KCAI with a degree in illustration, and I love making art, I also taught art for k-8th grade for two years until I became a SAHM. I love reading, gardening, baking, and being outside, all animals are fine! If any of this sounds like a good fit, then please reach out! Amelia cared for our twins and older sibling with ease. She was punctual, reliable, and professional. We got to know her at our local pool and I saw how she engaged with kids. She is always smiling and she goes-with-the-flow showing her laid back nature. The next year we saw her at the pool as a supervisor for 30 of her peers (and up to 6 years younger than her) demonstrating her ability to lead, work well with others, handle high-pressure emergency situations, and get the job done. Personally, she comes from a solid family engaged with their children. She is the eldest and her younger siblings still live at home, so she is surrounded by kids.
