About Ami

Hi, my name is Ami! I have seven years of experience working with children ages 1 to 15, both in the home and in the classroom. I have seven years of in-home childcare experience, four years of teaching experience and one year of behavioral therapy experience. I also have extensive experience working with children with special needs in the home, in the classroom, and in therapy settings (ABA training and experience). I have Bachelor's degrees in Childhood Education and Social Studies from St. John's University, and I am more than happy to help your child with virtual schooling and homework! My teaching experience, as well as my familiarity with Common Core standards, gives me a unique perspective that I can use to help your child succeed. I am very artsy, and love both music and the visual arts. I will always have arts and crafts supplies on hand, and love coming up with special craft projects! I also love the outdoors and animals!
