I'd describe my personality as kind, observant, calm but playful. I like working with kids because I love to see them learn and grow and they remind me of what is important in life. I need a job that can work around my college schedule that I can bring my 13-year-old daughter with me to. I would like to work with a family that believes in gentle parenting and learning through play. I still wear a mask when I am indoors in public places and will likely wear a mask while in your home, at least until flu season is over. I started working with kids when I was 11 years old and began babysitting. Since then I have worked in daycares, in-home childcare, worked as a short-term nanny, was preschool teacher, lead a Girl Scout troop, volunteered in my kids' school and with their sports leagues, and raised my own two children (17 and 12) As a mom I have done it all so I can take care of every need from cooking and feeding to diapers and toilet training to bedtime routines.
