About Amy

Lang. Arts, Math, study Skills, K-8, experienced elem. school teacher, tutor, home school mom. I have worked and volunteered in all settings: public school, private school, personal tutor, public charter school, cyber school, and home school (non-cyber curriculum). I have been a stay at home mom on and off over the years in addition to volunteering and tutoring. I have an 11 yr. old and a recent college graduate daughter who lives on her own. My experience in the education field has been greatly influenced by my real world experiences in over a dozen jobs I've held since I was 14 yrs. old. I strive to relate school curriculum to the real life, and promote strong study skills in an enjoyable manner. I aim to connect with my students and strive to help them achieve educational goals!
