About Amy

My passion is working with kids to build their confidence and social and emotional skills. I love play/games and am calm during chaotic moments. Over my various babysitting jobs, I have learned to be firm about expectations while having fun when they are followed. Helping kids to learn healthy boundaries is not something I struggle with. I have worked with kids of many ages and know what to expect in their stages of development. My previous job was partnered with the Casa Grande Elementary School District to help create programming for school aged children and their families. There, I taught a course to local middle schoolers about how to deal with the stress that they face. I currently work at Big Brothers Big Sisters, a national mentoring organization. I interview children and enroll them in the program. I am also currently in school to become a school social worker at the University of Chicago. Please consider me as your nanny!
