Experience: 10 yrs
I have over 22 years experience working as a CNA/Caregiver. I have spent the last 12 years working as a private duty Aide/Caregiver and wouldn't trade it for the world. I love being able to direct my knowledge, care and full attention to one person. I am also a certified Phlembotomist, med tech and am CPR/First Aid certified as well. I've had the pleasure of working for some really great families, taking care of their loved ones whom I still stay in contact with. I have extensive experience with Dementia and Alzheimer's and am certified in Dementia care. I am able to assist with daily living, hygiene, light housekeeping, meal prep and feeding, supervision, bathing, ADL's, transportation, companionship and any other duties that may be needed. I have excellent references/recommendations available at request. I would love to get the opportunity to discuss your or your loved ones care needs and see how I can be of help.
Amy was an amazing caregiver for both day shifts and nightshifts for my loved one with ALS… she was very skilled and experienced with total care of her right up to the end when she entered Hospice. Amy was amazing and was a great communicator with thorough reports both to me as well as the other care providers that she was handing off shift report too. She paid attention to details and alerted me whenever there was something important. She even kept me updated on every good moment and bad. She took the job seriously and did many things for the patient to keep her clean and comfortable. She was very skilled at picking up on things as far as changes in health status and notified us accordingly. And the best part about Aimee is that she poured love into her job and we truly could see how much she cared for our loved one. That made all the difference! Our loved one passed away, and I would recommend Aimee to anyone in need of a great caregiver.
