About Amy

Hi! My name is Amy. I am a senior at UW-River Falls. In May I will graduate with a degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and my hope is to go on to graduate school to become a Speech-Language Pathologist. I love working with kids! I have cared for children of all ages for the past 10 years as both a nanny and a babysitter. I have engaged in age-appropriate play, cooked meals, performed sensible cleaning and pick-up, transported children to and from school and other activities, supervised play dates, planned outings to zoos, museums, and parks, and assisted with homework. Most of all I have had fun! Some of my fondest memories are from the many hours I've spent babysitting. I strive to encourage imaginative play and problem solving and discourage too much "screen time." Kids are our future and I absolutely love that I have the opportunity to help shape the next generation by being a positive role model.
