I have skills in companionship, meal preparation, and household support for elderly folks. This is based on my experience as the primary caregiver for my mother for years before she died at age 84. Regular social interaction extended my mother's life, so I understand the importance of love and attention in the lives of seniors. I am a good listener with a great sense of humor. Let's converse about life or do some fun activities! Read the newspaper together, do some arts and crafts, puzzles (my favorite). I am happy to help with meal preparation and light housekeeping (tidying up, laundry, dishes, organizing, pet care). I am able-bodied and love to hear the life stories of those I am with!
