About Ana

Hi! I'm Ana, I'm 22 and originally from Brazil. I speak Portuguese and fluent English and have several years of childcare experience. I was an au pair in Washington, DC for 2 years, caring for the same boy from age 3 to 5. I cared for his daily needs, including school drop-off/pick-up, meals and snacks, packing his lunch and backpack, playtime and playground trips, bathing, laundry, and organizing his room and play area. I also cared for 3 children ages 7-12 and 2 children ages 5 and 7, including a child with ADHD. I grew up helping care for my younger brothers and regularly cared for my neighbor's son. I also studied nursing in Brazil for 2 years, giving me additional knowledge of caregiving, health, and safety. I'm caring, patient, responsible, and genuinely enjoy spending time with children. I'm available full-time now and will switch to part-time when I start college in January to pursue becoming a veterinary technician. I'm also comfortable caring for families with pets!
