I've been in childcare for over 2 decades. I began working with kids at age 10 as a mother's helper. I babysat through my teen years and then studied childhood development in college. Since graduation, I've worked as a nanny for various families and had two children of my own. I'd describe my personality as fun loving, nurturing, and patient. I will treat your child like my own and give them the care and affection they need to thrive. My skills include maintaining a positive attitude, providing age appropriate activities to encourage development, and being cheerfully engaged with the children. I try to foster a love of reading and emphasize learning through play.
