About Andrea

I have a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with endorsement in early childhood education. I have 17 years of experience working with children. During college, I worked in two different daycare centers and nannied for a year. I worked as a head start teacher in the classroom for six years. I taught kindergarten and first grade for Norman public schools for three years and I have been at Newcastle for the past four years. I taught first and am currently teaching PreK. I am experienced at creating lessons and activities that are meaningful to your child, and will help them grow developmentally. I offer tutoring for school aged children. I can assist with early literacy and math.
