I'd describe my personality as caring, hard working, dedicated I like caring for seniors because I find the work extremely rewarding. I love getting to know people on a personal level, the stories, their lives. I'm looking for a job that can give me a sense of purpose. Where they feel like family. I started caring for seniors when my grandparents were at the end of their lives in 2009-11. I then worked as a direct support professional from 2022-25 in group home with people of all ages who had mental and/or physical disabilities. In my spare time, I like to hike, spend time with my daughters, cook and just be outside staying active. One thing you should know about me is I am a hands on person. I love to stay active and love crafting. I have been a personal cleaner for 13 years, both rental and private homes for the same families. My skills include support with daily tasks(bathing, toileting, changing, food prep), clear communication and empathy, and mobility assistance.
