In the past I have worked in a nursing home, group home for individuals with disabilities and in private homes with clients . I have always been a people person and take huge pride in being able to make someone's life better. I am looking to help out seniors and people with special needs by helping with not only daily life and chores etc. but helping enrich their life by companionship. I enjoy making people smile and am always upbeat and in a positive mindset. I love cooking (especially Italian food) crafting, music, playing games and going on day trips. I used to work with Angela taking care of a developmentally challenged 52 year-old man. We both loved him dearly, but I know she was his favorite. Angela always thought about what he liked, what he wanted, and what he was capable of doing. She was always gently encouraging him to try something new. He was so lucky to have her because she is such a kind person who warms every heart around her with her positive outlook. He always smiled whenever she came in the room. She was his best buddy! I can highly recommend her to be someone's personal caregiver and companion. She will do her best to help improve any situation. You won't regret it!
