About Angela

I'd describe my personality as easygoing, friendly, and honest. I like working with kids because they are still discovering the world and learning new things. It reminds me to stop and look at things anew. I enjoy watching them catch a spark of something new. I started working with kids when I was 9 years old. I always knew working with kids is what I would be doing in life whether it be my own, others' kids at their home or in daycare, or as an elementary school teacher. In my spare time, I like to read, watch movies, practice photography, travel when I am able, blog, and cook. My top three child care skills include first aid & CPR certified, communication, and compassion. I have taught in the following capacities: homeschooling, public school and private schools. I a NC Teaching License for kindergarten to sixth grade, but homeschooled high school level students. Tutoring or teaching your child is an option I offer.
