About Angelena

I'd describe my personality as patient, kind and resourceful I like working with kids because I want to make a difference in their lives, form bonds with them and other caregivers, and get the chance to develop myself and professionally. I started working with kids when I was 16 I volunteered at a day care and that sparked my interest from there and ever since then I have taken quite a few childcare opportunities such as working in an after school program which allowed me to work with both younger kids and middle school kids. I also worked with a family who had an autistic child, working with him on feeding and bathroom skills. I enjoyed every opportunity and would love to continue working with children while I pursue my masters degree in occupational therapy. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family, taking my brother to the park and movies is my favorite thing to do.
