I setup a phone interview with Angie and she sounded great over the phone. She sounds qualified and has had experience with children. I wanted to meet her in person so we setup a meeting for the next day at noon. While on my way to the meeting, Angie texted me 20 mins before noon to let me know she wouldn't be coming. Her reason was that she needed to make a certain amount of money a week. I was shocked since her and I had not yet discussed compensation but she assumed numbers in her head. I'm taking a star away as I thought cancelling an interview last minute based on information she did not have was not professional on her part.
