About Angie

Hi there! My name is Angie I am a 27-year-old teacher who has lived in Chicago for the past 3 years but will be spending my summer between Arlington Heights and Chicago! I have loved working with kids for as long as I can remember. I went to college at Illinois State University where I received my degree in Elementary Education. I have worked as a 5th grade dual language teacher for the past 3 years! In my personal life, I get my joy from spending time with family and friends. I have two younger sisters (10 and 12) who I love hanging out with when possible. I enjoy cooking, thrifting, and playing every possible card/board games. I love creating activities like summer bingo boards and bucket lists where of course the teacher in me must bring in academics! I do plan on moving to France to teach English in mid-September so I'm looking for any and all summer work whether that is part-time, full-time or as needed.
