I believe that all seniors deserve respect and to feel cared for. I have experience with companionship care for a woman in memory care, and for at least 3 years I helped a family friend who had limited mobility with errands, housework, and someone to talk to. A little human interaction can go a long way. When my grandpa was alive and in the nursing home, I visited at the very least every other week and it broke my heart when the staff said most of the residents didn't have family who visited on a regular basis. After visiting with him I would have conversations with them. I don't want seniors to feel forgotten. I am not certified when it comes to extensive physical care, but I am full of compassion and a drive to make a difference in someone's life.
