I am currently employed with LISD and work in a Communications classroom with children from 1st grade up to 5th grade. I am completing my 5th school year. These are wonderful children with autism and I'm constantly amazed at their potential and successes. I'm fortunate to work with the best teacher who has never ever given up on a child. I've discovered a level of patience that I didn't know I was capable of possessing and I sincerely miss all of my students as they move on to middle school.
