About Anne

I'd describe my personality as warm, organized, and patient. I consciously approach each client with three primary goals: the first is safety, the second independence, and third helping s/he be the best they can be within their personal limitations. I find the lives seniors have lived to be incredibly interesting and enjoy hearing about the twists and turns they've experienced. My perfect job is one where I am positively impacting someone's life physically and emotionally. I nursed my Mom through the last 2 years of her life and have since cycled through other family members, multiple elderly friends, and clients found through Care. com. In my spare time, I like to travel, read, walk, cook, and join my friends for a good meal. I also love watching all the wildlife in my backyard. My skills include organization, liaising with family members, comfort with medical professionals, and being positive. I am also very resourceful and can figure out many things and "get things done".
